Abstract To develop a matrix-type, controlled-release tablet formulation of pelubiprofen (PLB), a recently developed non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, polymeric excipients including hypromellose, hydroxypropylcellulose, Eudragit® RS PO, and Kollidon® SR were screened.
