Hydrogels of a natural polysaccharide composed of Gum Arabic (GA) are appropriate materials for drug delivery, since they are water soluble, nontoxic and biocompatible. In this work, the effect of methacrylation on the properties of GA as pH-responsive hydrogel has been evaluated.
